6. Citarum River in Indonesia
This river is located in the eastern part of Jakarta. It flows down the mountains to the Java Sea. It moves a lot amount of garbage. It was rated to be one of the most polluted rivers in the world. The water is polluted by the activities of several hundreds of factories and millions of people dumping their waste in it. The chemicals and waste in it make it deadly.
