Due to evolutional reasons women are sensitive to noises even when they are sleeping. This is the reason they wake up to the baby’s crying while the dad keeps sleeping. But this is true only to high-pitched tones – like exactly the crying of a baby. Low tones won’t wake women up. Unfortunately, though, women are also more prone to sleep disorders.

People usually say that men think rationally while women are emotional. But this is actually not true. Women’s brains have thicker cortices than men’s – and a thisk cortex means higher scores on cognitive and intelligence tests. Men, ont he contrary, have higher brain volumes – this play a role in decision-making and emotions.
